Overland, Pacific & Cutler has provided comprehensive real estate services for the largest school construction program in the nation’s history. The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is building more than 150 new schools. LAUSD called on OPC to provide site selection, cost studies, project management, property acquisition and relocation assistance. To date, we have relocated more than 4,500 residents and business to enable the District to deliver the sites for construction.
OPC has the ability to deliver a team of acquisition and relocation professionals to a project site or a city, much like we did for San Diego City Schools. OPC mobilized a 15 member team to tackle the District’s projects. The projects entailed the acquisition of approximately 300 properties and the relocation of over 3,000 residences and businesses. We were successful in getting over 70 existing renters into homeownership opportunities.
OPC has performed other assignments for K-12 school districts, community colleges, state colleges and universities ranging from budgetary cost estimates, acquisition services, relocation plans, relocation assistance and property management.
