Jerry Colburn will be discussing cost effective and successful business relocations at the Orange County, Chapter 67, IRWA Luncheon on April 14, 2009. Jerry’s topic is titled “Anticipate, Mitigate & Innovate.”
He will be touching on the complexities of large business relocations and OPC’s recent use of Subject Matter Experts to successfully move complex businesses. With the loss of business goodwill statute in California, we face limitations and challenges while relocating businesses, especially complex businesses. Jerry is going to discuss the importance of pre-planning, early involvement and bringing in the right team for complex business moves. He will talk about providing not only Relocation Assistance, but Business Analysis, Move Planning Services, Process Manufacturing Consulting and Program & Construction Management in order for a complex business to stay in operation throughout the relocation process. “Our over-riding goal is to achieve a successful relocation. If this goal is attained, the results are cost savings for our clients, no litigation fees and projects that get delivered on schedule.” |
