In-House StaffingOverland, Pacific, & Cutler is a major resource in providing real estate professionals, right of way agents and relocation consultants to public agencies, utility companies and developers. Our in-house personnel will accomplish peak load assignments that a downsized or understaffed land or real estate department cannot handle in an efficient and timely manner. We are the major consulting firm for Los Angeles Unified School District’s extensive school site development programs. We have worked in conjunction with law firms to acquire property in high profile situations and we have been retained by agency counsel to provide expert testimony regarding relocation assistance, loss of business goodwill and construction defect matters when related to relocation. OPC has the ability to create a team that specializes in relocation assistance, forensic site searching for displaced businesses, and relocation file audits. We work closely with the agency’s special counsel to participate in depositions, assist counsel in the preparation of the eminent domain case and provide expert witness services. Expert Witness![]() Select Principals at Overland, Pacific & Cutler provide expert witness testimony in matters regarding business relocation and construction defects. Members of our staff have been designated as expert witnesses in several cases involving loss of business goodwill in Los Angeles, San Diego and Orange Counties. We have been qualified as Relocation Experts in the San Diego Superior Court, and we have served in the capacity of an Expert Witness in a variety of construction defect cases involving the dislocation of residential and business occupants. This involves evaluating the method of relocation, time schedules for the relocation efforts, phasing, cost analyses and relocation mitigation measures.
