To beat the post 4th of July summertime blues, some of our staff want to share our favorite summer movies with you. We hope that you find our recommendations popcorn worthy, and happy viewing!

Still in theaters, TOY STORY 4 has already risen to the top of our CEO Brian Everett’s favorite summer movie list. If you’re in the area, he recommends seeing it at El Capitan Theater in Hollywood with live characters and the Disney band.

Marketing Manager Maria Brief highly recommends PONYO by Studio Ghibli. Maria thinks you’ll be captivated by the storyline of Ponyo, a tenacious little goldfish who strives to become a human girl. By the end of the movie, Maria says, “your family will be smiling and singing along to the catchy Ponyo song and you may never look at goldfish in the same way.”

Senior Vice President Mark La Bonte says: “For those who don’t have summer travel plans, travel to Italy this summer with one of my all-time favorites: A ROOM WITH A VIEW. Get a bottle of wine and sit with your honey for a romantic night watching truth and beauty.”

Our Marketing Coordinator Mindy Lyons shares her summer favorite: FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH. Set in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley in the 1980s, filled with iconic performances and unforgettable characters, Fast Times is a classic that, in her opinion, never gets old.
