For the Southgate Apartments, OPC assisted with the disposition of the Southgate Apartments and the subsequent relocation of 98 households (temporary displacement for those income qualified households and permanent displacement for the remainder). In addition to relocation activities, the scope of services has included presentations to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority Board of Directors, community meetings and the development of a relocation plan.
OPC provided relocation consultation and early project oversight for the Sun Ridge Quarters, a rehabilitation project involving over 140 units in Fallon, Nevada. The project was delivered in accordance with the URA, HUD Handbook 1378, and Home Final Rule. This rehabilitation project utilized funding in part through the Section 515 Rural Rental Housing (Section 515) program. Very low, low, and moderate-income families, elderly persons, and persons with disabilities are eligible to live in the new units.
